There are three layers, the white part, the wall, and the ground. Their colours match beautifully.
And then the painter just added more urban/street feeling to the picture. The can on the ground is also a nice addition.

Life... is like a grapefruit. It's orange and squishy, and has a few pips in it, and some folks have half a one for breakfast.

I really like the color combination on this photo. I agree with ~ akasleep that the graffiti acts a flavor to the photo ... actually, I think his pants helped as well. Really nice shot.

yea, it's actually much more beautiful than i thought at first
i really love the white space at the top
and of course the colours are sublimely complementary
the detail is perfect (with the can there)
but mostly the guy himself, his position and clothes

i like the simplicity, color scheme and assymetry. this depicts urban life accurately, and has a commendable sentiment to it. this stood out on my devwatch, so just for a quickie, i chose my fav..

bist du das, der da malt oder ein kumpel von dir???


ansonsten find ich das bild vom künstlerischen her, grad nicht so umwerfend. ist nicht schlecht fotografiert oder so, liegt vieleicht aber auch eher daran, das die gezeigte situation für mich nicht unbedingt was besonderes darstellt.
sind halt eher die typischen szenen...typ der malt, dreckige umgebung und kannen die überall auf dem boden rumliegen! wie immer... :D (Big Grin)
